Forum Rules

General Rules [last updated: July 3rd, 2007]:

Community: TheWorld Forum aims to provide a safe and comfortable place where people from any cultural background and of any age could engage in topics of their interest. Please do not engage in personal bickering or flaming; remember to treat all posters how you would want to be treated. Offensive posts, signatures, or avatars are not permitted.
Posting: Do not double post. When cross-posting, provide a link to the post or site you are talking about. Always use the "Search" function before asking a question.
Spam: Adverstising and spamming are not permitted. Every post should be meaningful, thus do not make posts containing only "LOL"s.
Illegal Contents: Any sign of porn is a 0 tolerance offence. We follow the law of China in regard to what is permissible to be discussed here.
Moderators: The decisions made by moderators in this forum are final. The moderators have the authority to edit/delete posts and to ban members. However, if you see a moderator abusing his or her power, report to an administrator immediately (with evidence such as screenshots if possible).
Accounts: Only one account will be allowed per member. Account sharing is not permitted. If you have an issue with your account, please post the problem in the Site & Forum Issues forum or contact a moderator.
Signatures: There are no rules set to regulate signatures as of now, but please keep them small and make sure no one will find them offensive.
